Our Statement of Faith

Trinity

One God, Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ

True God and True Man; Born of a Virgin; Lived Sinlessly - Died on the Cross for the Sins of the World; Arose From the Dead After Three Days; Ascended Into Heaven From Where He Will Return Some Day

Holy Spirit

Divine Person; Indwells All True Believers: Guides, Teaches, Convicts, and Empowers

The Bible

Verbally Inspired by God as the Complete Revelation of His Will; The Divine and Only Rule of the Christian Faith and Practice

Man

Created by God in His Own Image; Fell Through Disobedience in the Garden Incurring Death; Separated From God by His Sin and Can Be Saved Only Through the Atoning Work of Jesus Christ; There Is a Literal Heaven and Hell

Salvation

Provided by Christ Through His Death on the Cross and All Those Who Repent and Believe Are Born Again; Receiving Eternal Life and the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

God’s Plan of Salvation

Do You Know Our Friend?

Perhaps you have an interest in a personal relationship with our friend, Jesus Christ. He promises to give you not only eternal life, but also abundant life—a fulfilling life with joy, peace, and purpose! You can have this life by understanding and believing these simple guidelines:

Column

Believe that God loves you and wants you for His child.

(John 3:16; John 1:12; John 10:10)

Believe that you are a sinner and are separated from God and the life He wants for you.

(Romans 3:10 and 23; Isaiah 59:2)

Believe that the penalty of sin is eternal death.

(Romans 6:23a; Romans 5:12)

Column

Believe that salvation is a free gift and you can never do enough or be good enough to earn it.

(Romans 6:23b; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8, 9)

Believe that because you could never pay the penalty for sin, Jesus Christ died in your place and took your sins upon Himself.

(Romans 5:8; II Corinthians 5:21)

Receive Jesus Christ into your life through faith and call upon Him to enter your life and save you.

(John 1:12; Romans 10:13; Revelation 3:20)
